| “In Hello★Hello, we secretly named the characters as Shizuka (Girl) and Taro (Boy). So that when we are talking about the flow of the story together with my artist, we can call them as if they are existing or our friends. One of the best parts are, the revelation that Shizuka is crippled. It was so dramatic that we had to feel it while reading/looking at the page. Also, the scene where Shizuka smiled in receiving the elephant stuffed toy from Taro. It was so magical that I am so affected with the smile. It is also our favorite that Taro doesn't care about Shizuka's condition and just wanted to be her friend. Kids nowadays can be over sensitive or doesn't care at all.” | |
