“I think the best part of my story is idea. The young woman lost her husband and tried to get a job to provide for her little daughter. However, the job was very stressful and she she became so nervous. Finally she snapped at her daughter when she made a mess in the house. Little children do not understand what is death and depression and why adults suffer. But they are very sensitive to human emotions, especially their parents. The child thought that the mother is crying because of the mess and she decided to correct the error. Young mind is funny and naive, but very honest. Also I want to note the daughter sees the mother as a beautiful woman-housewife, not an office worker! Pure daughter helps mother to forget about her problems and grief. During work I had a new interpretation of the story: after the death of father, woman replaces it, and the daughter become parody of your mother. The somewhat ironic title of my work now conveys a different meaning - now the child welcomes her mother as well as her mother welcomed her husband early. About the technical side of the work – I tried to convey the mood by rhythmic change of storyboard and different density of screentones. The most difficult part of story for me was scene of mother's memories. Mother's tears are main moment of this part. I tried to emotions of my characters were more realistic. And I think I made it quite bearable. Sorry for my poor English.”

“This story took me all summer. It is my first work where I try to draw on paper. I used technical pens for manga artists. Some mistakes I fixed on PC. Screentones I used from Clip Studio Paint (I think, it’s great program!). I was glad when I finished my story. Please enjoy it!”
