| “Cher Amì was a carrier pigeon actually existed during the World War One. I drew my inspiration from her adventure to realize my story and I set it in the Second World War. When there was a breakdown in telephone communications because of the war, pigeons became the best communication tools in WWII. Carrier pigeons usually could only come back to their pigeon house from wherever they had been brought. My main character is a special pigeon: not only he will be able to go back and forth to a place but also he will do his best to keep alive the friendship between the two protagonists!” | |
