| “I'll be honest, this wasn't easy to complete. Not only because of the handwork itself, but also because of the expiring date: I discovered the contest only 15 days before it ended, and I had never inked a manga page before. But the idea of Silent Audition sounded so great to me that i understood I had to make my best and finish it before I ran out of time. I wanted to fill it with fantasy and historical elements, a big package of seinen-style action scenes, but also I didn't want to draw the usual story about a puppy and his mother, no. I wanted a DRAGON to be the protagonist. I took the pencil, wrote for a night, and the result was : Imprinted. I hope you will enjoy it. P.S: If you are not tired of reading this incredibly long comment, I wanted to make you know the story is called "imprinted" from "imprinting", the psychological phenomenon that makes some animals (ex. ducks) think the first thing they see when they're born is their mother.
